Our Vice President of Investor Relations, Joe joined Matisse Capital in 2024 and is responsible for managing our firm’s strategic private capital and institutional relationships, while also assisting in marketing our two mutual funds.
Joe graduated summa cum laude with a Master of Accounting (MAC) from Creighton University’s Heider College of Business, where he also spent four years as a Division-I athlete on the Men’s Golf Team. Prior to joining Matisse, Joe spent three years at Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) in Phoenix, AZ as a Debt & Equity Placement Analyst. During his time at JLL, Joe underwrote over $4.4 billion in various investment opportunities, originated research reports on multifamily economic trends for Arizona, managed client relations, and was promoted to Multifamily Investment Sales Associate, leading the marketing efforts for several multi-million dollar transactions.
In addition to his professional roles, Joe holds an active Arizona Real Estate Salesperson License and a CRE Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst Certification from the Corporate Finance Institute. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute Arizona and attends CFA Society events often. Joe also is a regular volunteer for the Creighton Community Foundation and HonorHealth Desert Mission Adopt-A-Family Program.
