iNTF = Institutional No Transaction Fee
We are excited to share that our funds are now available for purchase WITHOUT TRANSACTION FEES on Fidelity’s iNTF platform effective March 1st, 2024.
This transition has been made for both the Matisse Discounted Closed-End Fund Strategy (MDCEX) and Matisse Discounted Bond CEF Strategy (MDFIX).
For current MDCEX and MDFIX shareholders on the Fidelity platform:
- Existing shares (those purchased prior to 3/1/24) remain “TF” and will still be subject to a transaction fee if sold.
- New shares of our funds purchased on the Fidelity platform (post the 3/1/24 iNTF amendment) pay no transaction fee.
- That means if an existing shareholder buys additional shares on 3/1/24 or after, the new shares are iNTF while the old shares remain “TF”.
- In such a “split” situation, Fidelity applies FIFO in order to decide whether any future sales are “TF” or iNTF.
Please reach out to funds@matissecap.com if you have any questions.
