Eric Boughton, CFA

Eric’s role at Matisse Capital is two-fold: as a portfolio manager, Eric helped devise the investment strategies for (and manages) our two mutual fund offerings (see Matisse Funds). As chief analyst, Eric also conducts research on behalf of our clients and provides critical insight to our investment committee.

Eric brings over 20 years of investment experience to our team, previously as a portfolio manager and analyst with 1st Source Investment Advisors, where he co-managed a publicly traded mutual fund, created the firm’s outside mutual fund recommended list, analyzed individual equity securities, generated investment commentary, and devised a quantitative approach to fundamentals-based security selection. Eric received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, with Distinction, from the University of Houston in 1997, and is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter holder. Eric holds a Series 65 license and is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative in the State of Oregon.
